Succesful BBoBB kick-off meeting!

We look back on an interesting and informative 1st partner meeting of our Interreg North Sea project Building Based on BioBased in the Provincie Fryslân.

Besides learning from each other’s experiences, projects and plans, we had inspiring visits to Biosintrum, It Swettehûs and the DRIVE Biocomposiet fietsbrug Ritsumasyl.

All partners involved from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany and the Netherlands are committed and motivated to get started with BBoBB. In the coming months, our focus will be on the first steps within the three defined work packages:

🤝 Strengthening governance and policy to scale up the biobased value chains.
🤝 Piloting biobased value chains in the North Sea region.
🤝 Design, raise awareness, involve industrial designers, architects and new clients.

Together we are committed to design, develop and strengthen the biobased value chains for the use of biobased materials in the North Sea region.
